What Makes the Course

What Makes the Course is the first lectio out of three ones that make up the Preview. Since the Lesson is the first one in the CNM Cyber Welcome Course, no predecessor learning activity exists.

Lectio 1 presentation

You are at the course that is designed to welcome you to CNM Cyber. Upon successful completion of this welcome course, you will be granted free-of-charge access to its services.
This course is made up of fourteen mandatory learning activities. The availability of the successor activity depends on the successful completion of the predecessor one. You cannot take the certification exam before your complete the preparation lessons and you cannot take the preparation lessons before you complete the course preview -- you are here.
This preview lesson consists of 3 parts -- you are at the first one. The preview lesson is followed by twelve exam preparation lessons. Each of them consists of from three to five parts. At CNM Cyber, lesson parts are called lectios. Every lectio consists of a brief presentation, sometimes, just one paragraph-long, which is followed by a one-question multiple-choice quiz. The preview lesson mimics the exam preparation one.
The entrance exam is the only certification activity. If you are interested in either paid or volunteer work opportunities, you will be also given instructions for your next steps later in the course.
Plan on setting aside at least eight hours to complete the entire course.

Lectio 1 quiz questions

  1. The CNM Cyber welcome course preview is a prerequisite to the entrance exam preparation lesson.
  2. The CNM Cyber entrance exam preparation lesson is a prerequisite to the entrance exam.
  3. Unless the policy changes, you should be able to take the CNM Cyber Welcome Course after 6 months from now.
  4. All of the other substantive answers are correct.
  5. None of the other answers is correct.

Why to Take the Course

Why to Take the Course is the second lectio out of three ones that make up the Lesson.

Lectio 2 presentation

Paths of CNM Cyber Welcome Course graduates
Graduates from this welcome course are offered three paths. They are paid fellow, volunteer fellow, and non-committed to learning associate one.
Those who are interested in paid employment, but lack employment credentials, will be offered to take the CNM Cyber Orientation followed by the CNM Cyber Placement in order to join the WorldOpp Fellow Staff. The fellows may land apprentice jobs anywhere in the WorldOpp Pipeline. If you start from ground zero, this path may require at least 20 hours a week commitment and takes 2-3 years to be competitive for well-paying jobs.
Currently, there is a $100 bonus payable to anyone who refers a participant of the paid path after this participant earns his or her first $100. The participant will receive his or her $100 bonus too; that would be payable upon graduation from the CNM Cyber Placement.
Those graduates who are interested in employment credentials, but cannot commit at least 20 hours a week and/or interested in the paid path, will be offered to take the CNM Cyber Orientation in order to become a volunteer for the CNM Cyber Team.
Both paid and volunteer paths require its participants to be active learners matriculated in specific programmes.
Those graduates who are not willing to commit to learning through CNM Cyber will be offered to: (a) utilize CNM Cyber for their career enhancement, if they need so, and/or (b) become a paid vendor for CNM Cyber's development or volunteer mentor for CNM Cyber's learners.
An optional forum is set up for the course graduates. If you need to get more information on your options, you will be given all the chances to ask your questions directly.

Which statement below is correct:
  1. In addition to employment credentials and employment networking, CNM Cyber offers two ways to earn money: (a) to join its WorldOpp Fellow Staff team and/or (b) to become its vendor.
  2. CNM Cyber's services are free of charge for those who successfully completed this welcome course.
  3. To utilize CNM Cyber for your career enhancement, you don't need to be an active learner matriculated in any programmes offered through CNM Cyber.
  4. All of the other substantive answers are correct.
  5. None of the other answers is correct.

How to Pass the Course

How to Pass the Course is the final lectio out of three ones that make up the Lesson.

Lectio 3 presentation

In order to graduate, you need to pass the entrance exam. This exam is published at CNM Cert and may include multiple-choice, true/false, and fill-in-blank questions. The number of attempts to pass the entrance exam is unlimited. You can review all the exam questions at CNM Wiki, which is one of CNM Cyber's services.
The course contains a few definitions. You can wait until they will be explained during the course or look up as you go. Complete contents of all the lesson parts, as well as all the exam questions, are published at CNM Wiki as well. CNM Tube is another service that can be helpful; it publishes video versions of the lesson parts.
At CNM Cyber, your status will not change if you fail the exam completely. If you don't fail, you will be granted access to CNM Cyber's services. If you neither pass nor fail, your access may be limited until you succeed to get a better grade.
There is no time limit to complete the course, but the current status of your account is temporary. Its lifetime cannot exceed 6 months. If you pass the entrance exam within that time, your account shall become permanent. It shall be closed, if not. By the way, the number of accounts you can open is unlimited.

Lectio 3 quiz questions

Which statement below is correct:
  1. You can either fail or pass the CNM Cyber entrance exam as long as you have taken it.
  2. Access to CNM Cyber's services is granted upon successful completion of the entrance exam preparation lesson.
  3. Any unsuccessful attempt will degrade your probability of successful completion of the CNM Cyber Welcome Course.
  4. All of the other substantive answers are correct.
  5. None of the other answers is correct.
