There are several ways to track student progress in CNM Cert. Many of them such as Badges, Grading System etc. have been discussed in this course. Among the most important and common ones is Activity completion Activity completion or completion tracking allow students to see their progress throughout the course using check boxes.

  • Teacher can set completion criteria in a specific activity's settings. A check (tick) appears against the activity when the student meets this criterion such as viewing, receiving a certain score or a student marking it as complete.
  • Students may also mark the check boxes manually, to indicate completion of an activity.
  • Activity completion or Completion Tracking should enabled by the administrator site wide in the course settings as:
Administration > Site administration > Advanced features check the "Enable completion tracking" box.
