Collaboration on Documents (hereinafter, the Lectio) is the lesson part of the CNM Wiki Essentials lesson that introduces its participants to CNM Wiki. This lesson belongs to the CNM Cyber for Competence session of the CNM Cyber Orientation.

Document collaboration systems allow for editing in which many contributors may work on the same document. These systems help multiple people work together on a single document to achieve its distinguished latest version.
There are two types of document collaboration systems. Collaborative realtime editors such as Google Docs and other web-based office suites belong to one type.
CNM Cyber's document collaboration system utilizes another type, wiki engine, because of two reasons. First of all, wiki is more widespread in the information technology industry. Second, wiki engines are robust when it comes to tracking, which is vital in the learning process.
