Work sample test (alternatively known as work simulation or, simply, work test; hereinafter, the Test) is a sample of behavior that can be used to predict future performance in similar work situations. Its result is an employment credential that provides information relating to skills that may be difficult to assess in other ways.
Definitions
According to Organizational Behavior by Robbins and Judge (17th edition),
- Work sample test. A hands-on simulation of part or all of the work that applicants for routine jobs must perform.
