A WorldOpp roundtable (hereinafter, the Meeting) is a meeting of Friends Of CNM (hereinafter, the Group) organized in order to discuss any challenges that the Group faces.


Typical agenda

By default, any Meeting consists of two parts:

  • Q&A session for new attendees related to the introductory presentation of Friends Of CNM;
  • If there is a room, the session extends to any question related to WorldOpp development.

All of the presentations are pre-recorded and supposed to be viewed by the attendees before they arrive.

Format

The Standups are usually organized simultaneously onsite to accommodate those who needs face-to-face interactions and online to accommodate those attendees who choose to participate remotely.

Onsite

The Standups shall usually be scheduled to occur in the cafeteria of McLean Bible Church in Vienna, Virginia. The announcements shall usually be published at the Career Network Ministry meetup group and/or Tech Events for Managers and Entrepreneurs. The cut-off RSVP shall be set at about 24 hours prior to the event and, if no member RSVPed, the onsite portion of the Standup shall be cancelled.

Online

The Standups shall usually be broadcasted via some web conferencing system. The announcements shall usually be published at https://worldopp.org. If no new attendee RSVPed, the first and final parts of the Standup shall be cancelled.

Requirements

The Startup shall satisfy requirements as follows:

  1. Newbies shall be able to see how the team operates and ask questions first-hand.
  2. Team members shall be able to report their progress and hear from the others.
  3. The team lead shall be able to know the obstacles in order to work on those.
