Downward communication is Communication that flows downward from managers to employees.

Downward communication. Communication that flows downward from managers to employees.

According to the HRBoK Guide,

Downward communication. Flow of information from superiors to subordinates. Information that is conveyed by upper management to lower-level employees in the organization.
