Occupational nature is the main characteristic of an occupation. This characteristic impacts preferences for work environments and outcomes.


Classification

One of classifications arrived from John Holland's theory that suggests that most people are one of six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional.
