Service continuity management practice (hereinafter, the Practice) is the practice to ensure that service availability and performance are maintained at a sufficient level in case of a disaster. This Practice is a part of the ITIL practices.

According to the ITIL Foundation 4e by Axelos,

Service continuity management practice. The practice of ensuring that service availability and performance are maintained at a sufficient level in case of a disaster.
