Coordinator's reports

  • Gary: Held office hours on Thursday and Tuesday. Kevin initiated discussions on CNM Website Projects. To respond, added upper rows to tables on CNM Website Projects, so developers can claim projects. On the same page, added a new section for projects to support website developers. Was trying to document this as a project and is planning to continue so next week. Particularly, is strongly considering using Talk/Discussion pages as project wikipages for sub-projects. With Rita, discussed her connectivity since we planned to move This-Week events to her a few weeks ago. Participated in:
    1. Tech Board with Natalia, organized by Sonya. The meeting was good and we agreed to try to conduct it in English this week. Further, it shall be published on Meetup.com and YouTube.
    2. Two interviews with Jitsi contractors, organized by Sonya. To schedule the interviews, she introduced CNMCyber.com's calendar, which works great! We are getting closer and closer to awarding at least one contract.
    3. Two interviews with MediaWiki contractors, organized by Kevin. The story of all contractors can collectively be summarized as follows, "we are highly experienced in everything, but in what you need; we will deploy the best solutions that we cannot name; if we don't find best solutions, we will create custom ones; we are open to payments now and this is the only detail about our work that we can share now, without additional research".
  • Sonya: This week we had two productive interviews with experts on Jitsi, we set up a calendar with Natalia on CNMCyber.com where we mark the schedule of future meetings, I also slightly updated the CNM Jitsi page, including information about available instances. I was also looking for a solution to create automatic English subtitles for Russian meetings. I plan to have another interview on Thursday, after which we will decide on an expert and already hire someone. And I plan to fill the pages of each Technology Board meeting.
  • Kevin: Worked further on finding a suitable candidate for our MediaWiki, I had conversations with five aspirants and held 2 meetings but none of the contractors meet expectation. Planning to proceed with this endeavor the coming week.
  • Rita: This week I attended office hour, Thursday and Tuesday. Gary looked through what I did and it lacked information based on CNMCyber. The project I took on was CNMCyber.com CMS, the requirements were put on the discussion page. I plan on working in this page further. Sonya and I drafted CNMCyber Welcome Agenda. We yet to put in a script or talking points.
  • Gracey: This week together with Mark and Ms. Rwito, we worked on the CNM Website Developer wikipage, I worked on the work documents and website deliverables part. On the coming week I will working on the CNM WordPress wikipage.
  • Mark: This week I worked on editing the CNM Website Developer webpage together with Grace and Rwito. I worked specifically on the Projects and Projects of projects sub-sections of the webpage while simultaneously learning skills required in wiki via WikiText. Having finished working on the CNM Website Developer webpage, I will embark on editing and simplifying the CNMCyber Coordinator webpage for the coming week.
  • Rwito: I worked on the CNM Website Developer webpage this week, Editing and simplifying the webpage with Grace and Mark and summing up the page. I handled the general page outlook, the Devs part and the Website-Core Projects. I will be working on editing and simplifying the CNMCyber Welcome home page as I use the Wiki platform to understand other projects, gain skills required and how to best work on them, this incoming week.
