CNMCyber Week 2023-06-28 is the CNMCyber This Week event on 28 June. The predecessor event was CNMCyber Week 2023-06-14; CNMCyber Week 2023-06-28 is the successor event.
Coordinator's report
- Gary: Held an office hour on Thursday, but didn't attend Tuesday's meeting. According to Kevin and Rita, they conducted a common hour instead. Erastus and one guest also joined that meeting. Decided to conduct office hours further on demand, while assuming a specific topic and wiki records. Is considering imposing a cap on learning hours, while encouraging the learners to start being project or operations' contractors. Talked to Sonya as she has graduated from the program. Participated in CNM Tech Board 2023-06-15 meeting that Kevin organized. As an initial meeting, it was successful. However, because no minutes where captured, it is hard to follow up. Chatted with Rita via YouTube comments. Tried to communicate with the finalist contractor for Educaship Jitsi; nevertheless, since he withdrew his application, no contract has been awarded yet. Because of discussion on CNM Technology Board, we need to fix Educaship Proxmox before Educaship Jitsi anyway. Reviewed a webpage prototype at CNMCyber.com Home that Kevin started and Erastus has worked lately. Great job on that! With regards to CNMCyber websites, decided to use the historical name, HOTCOE, for hands-on apps instead of Kryvi. Initially, HOTCOE stood for "Hands-On Training and Career Opportunities for Everyone". Didn't do much on CNM Website Projects because of lack of time. Finally, exchanged a couple of emails with Gracey. It seems like she missed to discuss the project requirements with me as the customer. Is strongly considering to change the practice order. The learners cannot really act as student developers without event organizing skills, so it makes sense for them to start out as CNM Event Organizers instead of CNM Website Developers.
- Kevin: Attended office hour on Thursday, attended common hour on Tuesday with Rita and Erustus where we discussed meet-up page, creating SOP for creating scripts and we were joined by a guest. I also made an effort to reach out to the guest. Scheduled Tech Board meeting on Thursday and posted the recording on YouTube. Researched on Live streaming, did some tests and created Live streaming wiki page which is still in progress.
- Rita I could not attend Thursday office hour, however I watched the youtube video of Techonology board meeting. I attended common hour with Kevin and we had a new guest. This led me to create an orientation page in case someone new joins us online called WorldOpp Orientation page. I tried to reach out to Sonya regarding the final phase of welcome session but she has not responded. I next week I intend to learn about CNM Technology Board since Gary shared his plans of me moving there.
- Erastus I finalized the CNMCyber Homepage prototype where Gary perfected it. I also worked on CNMCyber.com Information Architecture in collaboration with Kevin. Finally I attended the Commom Hour on Tuesday with Rita and Kevin where we discussed various things including IA sprint and creating SOP's
