CNM Mails (hereinafter, the Mails) is the email management system of the Career Network Ministry (CNM). The Mails is the service of CNM Digital that allows for emails.

The CNM Digital Services designs and the Friends Of CNM delivers the Mails to its users at absolutely no cost. This service is not available to the general public; only those users who have obtained the CertFellow role can access it.

Purpose

The primary purpose of the Service is to accommodate emailing from and to the stakeholders of the CNM Digital.

Technology

This Service is powered by CNM Mailware.

Problems to be addressed

Traditionally, the CNM Digital Services used emailing solutions provided by third-party vendors. In addition, the team used emailing tools that came with various pieces of software we used for collaboration, project, learning, customer relationship, and so on management.

There were some overlapping and unnecessary redundancy. That is why the team has just installed a separate mailing server. Our team plans that it will serve all the applications within the CNM Cloud. Who and how should use it? How may we ensure a high level of its security? How should we fight the spam? Should we integrate some calendaring software? Do we really need the own email system? If so, would you like to help us to define what we need?
