Consumer

Consumer is in the context of a given transaction, a natural person who enters into a transaction other than for business or professional purposes. A given person may act as a consumer in some transactional contexts, and a non-consumer in others. N.B. This definition is far from universal. Some laws adopt definitions of 'consumer' that vary from this.
