Customer is the receiver of the goods or services that are produced.

According to Juran's Quality Handbook by Defeo (7th edition),

Customer. The receiver of the goods or services that are produced.

According to the BABOK Guide (3rd edition),

Customer. A stakeholder who uses or may use products or services produced by the enterprise and may have contractual or moral rights that the enterprise is obliged to meet.
