Welcome to the learning session that is designed to welcome you to CNM Cyber. Upon successful completion of this CNM Cyber Welcome Session, you will be able to enroll in the following course called the CNM Cyber Orientation.

When you complete both courses, you will be granted free-of-charge access to CNM Cyber services. If you don't need that access, you don't need to complete the courses here, at CNM Cert. All of their content is published at CNM Page; its video versions are available at CNM Tube.

Plan on setting aside at least eight hours to complete the entire CNM Cyber Orientation.

Overview

Welcome to CNM Essentials. In this brief presentation, we are going to take a summarized look at CNM in terms of it's essential components like the "Team", "Structure", "Friends of CNM" and "CNM Services". This lesson is intended to serve you with basic knowledge about CNM, before you proceed further. Let's begin.

Goals and Objectives

CNM's goal is to provide caring support to individuals during career transitions. They desire to encourage, equip and empower you to become all that God wants you to be.

CNM provides:

• Ministry and support to anyone in a work life transition;
• Consultation and training for skill development, job search development to include resume development, job search techniques, networking and interviewing techniques;
• Career assessment, including consultation on discovering your spiritual gifts, talents, interests, experiences, and potential career options;
• In summary, assistance to support its patrons in finding their jobs.

CNM also offers moral and prayer support in a safe environment, encourage the exchange of information and ideas and the sharing of resources.

CNM Cyber Team

CNM Cyber is one of the major services of CNM and CNM Cyber Team (previously known as CNM Tech Skills Training Team, and CNM Tech Team; also known by an acronym CNMCT; hereinafter, the Team) is the team of the Career Network Ministry (CNM) that provides them with a bundle of online and onsite services for CNM Cyber. Other important divisions of this team are CNM Technology Board, CNM IT Taskforce and CNM IT Office.

Friends of CNM

This is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious group of legal entities with the following main objectives:

• It provides the CNM with CNM Cyber at no cost.
• Secondly, this group creates a platform for career-oriented networking through its communities.
• Thirdly, the Friends Of CNM provides patrons of the CNM with those services that the CNM does not offer.

The structure of Friends of CNM has its communities, Staff, (having their employees and paid interns) and contractors (providing outsourced services). Here are some prestigious friends of CNM:

• Educaship Alliance LLC. The limited liability company (LLC) headquartered in Northern Virginia that acts as the commercial arm of Friends Of CNM. Being a CNM friend itself, this company:
  1. Delivers those Careerprise services that are not delivered directly by its partners. These services include CNM Cyber and WorldOpp Pipeline;
  2. Employs members of WorldOpp Fellow Staff and pays stipends;
  3. Conducts procurement for Friends Of CNM and serves as a point of contact for the contractors and partners.

Bracka School's trade mark

• Bracka School. Another friend is Bracka School, a community-driven education initiative originated at the end of sixteenth century in Eastern Europe. One of its features today is that its students are welcome to contribute their endeavors instead of paying tuition or other fees.

CNM Cyber

CNM Cyber (previously known as CNM Digital; hereinafter, the Services) is the web-based career enhancement platform (CEP) for general public and is designed to assist those who are on the job market, are going to be, or would like to be. Its assistance instruments are grouped in services. Every of the services is based on software systems. As discussed earlier CNM Cyber Team provides CNM with CNM Cyber and CNM Cloud is the information technology that powers CNM Cyber.

Others

Other services of CNM include interview skills, résumés, LinkedIn, job marketing, financial planning workshops and one-on-one assistance, as well as various types of networking. All of its services are delivered by volunteers and are free of charge to its patrons.
