CNMCyber Week 2023-05-03 is the CNMCyber This Week event on 3 May

Coordinator's reports

  • Gary: Led the Website Developer Bootcamp endeavor. It looks like it is about to produce some result, but the distance between willing-to-work and ready-to-work statuses is still huge. Will continue for the next week and, based on new experience, will decide whether to continue or postpone until the recruitment camping is launched. While having participants' feedback, I update the CNM Website Developer wikipage. Publishing event announcements on Meetup.com and recordings on YouTube also produced new followers -- I communicated with them. Finally, participated in the CNM Technology Board meeting. Discussed how we can integrate webconferencing and streaming, probably, using CNM Talk and CNM Tube.
  • Sonya:I still worked on subtitles on YouTube, also we tested stream on YouTube with using Jitsi. So, we will work on Streaming function on CNM Jitsi with Natalia. I've had some conversations with candidates on Upwork and plan to have a few candidate meetings next week with Natalia. I also prepared and plan to prepare for the CNM Technology Board, I also plan to edit this page.
  • Kevin: Was able to connect our aspiring MediaWiki expert to Natalia. Currently having more conversations with other aspirants on upwork. Together with Rwito, Gracey and Mark, we were able to pick a project as Website developers which is CNMCyber.com Home text development which we will be working on in the coming week. Finally, I was able to complete the marketing strategy sprint with quotations from career platforms in Kenya.
  • Rita: I managed to finish the welcome video with Sonya CNMCyber Welcome Video. It can be reviewed and feedback is needed. I also managed to make a sample website but I took video because what I used does not picture form. I will share individually. I do not know how to attach videos yet. I did not manage to make the welcome session this week but I talked with Sonya to see when to have it.
