Minutes of the Meeting

Main Agenda 1: Weekly Meeting Schedule

1. The meeting was called to order by Gary.
2. It was unanimously agreed that the International Council for Vocational Orientation will hold weekly meetings.

Main Agenda 2: Initiative Name

1. The question of what the initiative should be named was raised. Suggestions and ideas will be collected and discussed at future meetings.

Main Agenda 3: Educaship Pitch

1. The discussion revolved around ways to improve the Educaship pitch. Members are asked to share their thoughts on what could be added to make it more effective and what elements should be removed to enhance clarity and impact.

Main Agenda 4: January Launch

1. The planning for the launch in January was discussed. The primary topics included:
2. It was decided that a list of technical questions should be developed for discussion with the board.
   1. One of the key topics to be covered is how to establish a computer network with the school's computers.
   2. Identifying the specific target audience for the launch, i.e., which children will be the focus
   3. Determining the number of hours per day that the kids will spend in the program.
   4. Deciding on the duration, i.e., how many days a week.

No decision was reached, and further discussion will be held in subsequent meetings.

Main Agenda 5: Coordinator Appointment

1. Kevin was appointed as the Coordinator for the International Council for Vocational Orientation.

Main Agenda 6: Member's Motivation and School Administration Fees

1. Member's motivation for participating in the initiative was raised, and further discussion will be held in subsequent meetings.
2. A debate ensued about whether schools that wish to benefit from the initiative should be charged. No decision was reached, and further discussion will be held in subsequent meetings.
3. The topic of school administration fees (some amount paid to the school to aid the program, i.e. to cater for bills incurred while running the program using school's facilities. e.g additional pay for extra hours for the cleaner) was introduced and discussed, but no decision was made, and further discussions are planned for future meetings.
4. Discussion on student motivation took place, no decision was made, and further discussions are planned for future meetings.

Action Items:

The following action items are to be discussed and decided upon in subsequent meetings.

1. The council members to collect and share suggestions for the initiative's name
2. Continue the discussion on whether schools should be charged for the initiative.
3. Develop a list of technical questions for council members discussion, with a focus on January launch.
4. Kevin to assume the role of Coordinator for the International Council for Vocational Orientation.
5. Continue discussions on member's motivation and school administration fees.
6. Continue discussions on student motivation.
