Internal customers are individuals within the organization who receive the work that other individuals within the same organization do.

Internal customers. Individuals within the organization who receive the work that other individuals within the same organization do.

According to Juran's Quality Handbook by Defeo (7th edition),

Internal customers. Customers inside the producing organization. Everyone inside the organization plays three roles: supplier, processor, and customer.
