Quality function deployment

Quality function deployment (also known by its acronym, QFD; alternatively known as house of quality) involves developing a matrix that includes customer preferences and engineering product attributes. A QFD matrix allows a firm to analyze quantitatively the relationship between customer needs and design attributes.
